What areas does JAKS Construction serve?
We are based on East Kellogg in Wichita and build across the metro: Wichita, Andover, Augusta, Bel Aire, Derby, Goddard, Haysville, Park City, and Valley Center. Each of those towns runs its own permit process, and we pull the permits ourselves wherever the project is.
Is JAKS Construction licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold MABCD License 12358 as a Class A General Contractor and carry full liability and workers compensation insurance. The license number is in the footer of every page on this site.
Do you handle both commercial and residential work?
Yes. On the commercial side we build ground-up projects, tenant improvements, and serve as owner’s representative. On the residential side we build new homes, remodel kitchens and bathrooms, build additions, and produce custom cabinetry in our own shop.
What makes JAKS different from other Wichita general contractors?

Can you build custom cabinets without a full remodel?
Yes. Millwork-only projects are welcome. Pantries, kitchen cabinet replacements, built-ins, wet bars, and commercial casework all come out of our Wichita shop, whether or not we are doing the rest of the construction.
